Mr. Chand Kumar, a dynamic and extraordinary entrepreneur with a remarkable three-decade-long journey in the hospitality & real estate industry. With a diverse background spanning investment, commercial, strategy, and operations roles, Mr. Kumar has left an indelible mark on the sector, including restaurants and liquor stores.

Throughout his career, Mr. Kumar has exhibited exceptional leadership qualities and an innate talent for people management. In an industry known for its dynamic and ever-changing nature, he has thrived under pressure, consistently delivering innovative solutions by closely aligning with evolving customer needs.

Mr. Kumar’s journey with Divya Sutra Group, a company specializing in acquiring and revitalizing underperforming entities, began in May 2010. Under his visionary direction, this endeavor has blossomed from humble beginnings, starting with just two employees, into a thriving organization with a dedicated team of 350 professionals. His ability to spot opportunities where others see challenges has been pivotal in the group’s transformation of loss-making and outdated businesses into profitable ventures.

As the CEO of Divya Sutra Group, Mr. Kumar plays a pivotal role in driving the group’s mission of acquiring and transforming potential into prosperity. I am a hotelier with more than 18 years of extensive managerial experience, working diverse hospitality properties, and have moved up the ranks in various progressive positions with leading hospitality companies such as Hilton, IHG, Wyndham, Le Royal Meridien, Best Western, Excelsior, Taj and Oberoi. After obtaining a full time 4 years degree in hotel management and catering technology with the first division, I pursued my full time MBA in marketing and human resource.

My diverse and multinational exposure has enabled me to bridge the gap between Eastern and Western cultures. It has also allowed me to apply world-class customer service standards coupled with excellence in executing best practices, allowing my organization to contribute to the owner’s financial gains, as well as deliver at a high level through brand recognition in all relevant markets.

Stacy Mueller

Stacy’s 20 years of industry experience and educational background in Marketing, Product, Career Coaching, and various areas of the Arts, brings a freshness and creativeness to the industry that fosters guest, staff and community relationships, while growing the overall business.

Stacy is experienced in many avenues of the industry including, Location Manager, Chain Operations Management and Industry Consulting. She excels at, Inventory Management, Product Management, Staffing, and the daily operational processes and procedures.

Kira Zakharova

Senior Office / Accounting Admin, Calgary AB

Came to Canada in 2012 as an international student. Graduated SAIT in 2014 with a Business Administration Degree. Joined the Company on February 4, 2019 as a Bookkeeper. Has a Bachelor Degree in Law. Plenty of interest including Psychology, History, Creation Cartoons and Snowboarding.

I embarked on my journey in Canada in 2020 to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management from Vancouver. After graduating with distinction in 2023, I have been actively contributing to the hospitality industry, striving to create unforgettable guest experiences. My dedication to guest satisfaction and attention to detail played a key role in elevating our hotel’s reputation on TripAdvisor. Through personalized service, consistent quality, and a focus on customer feedback, I helped position the hotel at the top of the TripAdvisor rankings.
